CRAG accounts

You can either use Andy's excel spreadsheet 'conversion factors' attached below or you can do it online here. Either way you should get the exactly the same number of Kg of CO2.

1. Register to get your own account. If you are registered with http://www.carbonrationing.org.uk/, please use the same userid on both sites because we might try to merge both sites at some stage.

2. Click on create content / carbon account OR click on my account / create a carbon account

3. Under My Preferences, fill in a title for this footprint.

4. Press 'submit'.

5. You will be presented with any empty carbon footprint. Click on add new to add a new carbon stamp.
Distances between UK rail stations.
Distances between airports.
6. Fill in the appropriate values.

7. Press 'submit'

You now have a very basic footprint with one carbon stamp. You can finely tune your carbon footprint by adding and editing each of the carbon stamps that are shown in the carbon footprint view.

You can always add/change/delete your entries at any time.

The carbon footprinting software running on this site is the carbon footprint module which runs in the Drupal open source content management system. There is discussion forum about enhancements on the Drupal site.

April 3rd 2007: site converted to drupal 5.

May 3rd 2007: drupal evaluation site now running on US host. Please use this site if you just want to try out the software.

June 11th 2007: Reporting functions improved. CRAG settlement added.

May 7th 2009: Now running drupal 6 and latest development snapshot which includes carbon stamp editing using ajax functions.
